The Stars traveled to Ann Arbor Greenhills and came away with 37-24 win.

SCA came out with good energy to start the game. Lizzy Turek scored the first basket of the game and the Stars maintained the lead the entire game. The highlight from the first quarter was Olivia Skown hitting a 3 point basket to end the first quarter with a 3 point lead, 12-9.

Offensively, the second quarter was very slow. A total of 6 points were scored, 3 by each team. Stars led 15-12 at halftime.

The second half belonged to SCA. The Stars went on a 4-0 run to take a 19-12 lead. Haley Gustad then converted on a 3 point shot and the Stars led 22-16 after three quarters of play.

The fourth quarter is when the Stars turned up the heat. Several steals on defense led to open court layups. SCA had their best quarter offensively, scoring 15 points in that quarter alone.

A great team win with all 12 players contributing.

Maryann Alexander led the team with 10 points. Haley Gustad scored 6 and Migle Orentas and Olivia Skown each added 5 points.

The Stars improve to 7-2 on the season. They will face off against Cabrini at home on Friday night.
