The Stars traveled to Royal Oak Shrine and picked up their 3rd loss of the season by the score of 53-39.

SCA came out with energy in a fast paced first quarter. Lizzy Turek scored the first basket of the game to take any early 2-0 lead. Shrine answered back with the next 6 points. Darbi Klatt took the ball hard to the basket and scored the next 4 points to tie the game at 6 each. However, Shrine pushed the ball and finished the first quarter on a 11-2 run. Shrine led 17-8 at the end of the first quarter.

Shrine continued their momentum on offense in the second quarter and increased their lead to 21-8. The Stars kept going hard to the basket, and played almost even with Shrine for the reminder of the half. Shrine led 30-16 at half.

SCA came out after halftime with fight still in them. Darbi Klatt made 3 free throws and a basket to cut the deficit to 11 points, 32-21. However Shrine kept their offense moving and and went on a 7-2 run. Shrine led 39-23 heading in the fourth quarter.

SCA offensively had their best quarter in the final eight minutes. They outscored Shrine 16-14. Hailey Baumann led the charge, scoring 9 of the 14 points in the fourth quarter. SCA was even with Shrine In the second half, with each team scoring 23 points.

Hailey Baumann led the team with 13 points. Lizzy Turek scored 8 points and Darbi Klatt added 7 points.

The Stars travel to Cabrini on Monday in the final regular season conference game.
