The Stars advance to their first regional final in school history by defeating Warren Lincoln by the score of 58-31.

SCA led the entire game and set the tone right from the start. Hailey Baumann hit a 3 point shot to start the game and Lauren Arena followed it up with 2 made free throws to take an early 5-0 lead. Lincoln came back and hit a 3 pointer but Hailey Baumann matched it just seconds later. However, Lincoln then made back to back 3 pointers to cut the deficit to 1 point, 10-9. SCA went on an 11-2 run to end the first quarter, winning 22-11.

Lizzy Turek began the second quarter with a made 3 pointer to stretch the lead to 14 points. Defensively, the Stars were aggressive and held Lincoln to only 1 point in the second quarter. Maeve Burke, Darbi Klatt and Lauren Luomala each contributed points in the second quarter. Stars led 33-12 at halftime.

The second half was played out similar to the first half. Lizzy Turek once again hit another 3 point shot and Claire McClorey contributed 5 points in the third quarter. The Stars outscored Lincoln 14-6 in the third quarter and led 47-18.

The game did not change much in the final quarter. The highlight from the final 8 minutes was Krystal Shango making 2 three pointers.

Claire McClorey led the team with 11 points. Hailey Baumann, Lauren Arena and Lizzy Turek each scored 8 points.

The Stars will play for the Regional Final on Thursday, March 12 at Livonia Clarenceville at 7:00 vs Chandler Park.
